Lanai Stand Up Paddle Boards

A NSP Stand Up Paddle Board along with a Quickblade Paddle can be delivered to you at Manele Bay, Hulopo'e Beach. You may choose to use your NSP SUP Board for the morning, with delivery at 8am returning at noon or for a full day with delivery at 8am with return at 4:00pm. (Delivery times negotiable.) Paddling above the water, looking down at schools of fish swimming by and the colorful coral reef below is a fun way to spend some time while on Lanai. Occasionally the Spinner dolphins* come into the bay at Hulopo'e, and it is truly a unique experience to sit on top your SUP Board and watch them leaping and spinning out of the water.

Because your saftey is our upmost concern, a brief but informative land and water safety instructional clinic will be provided at the time of your NSP SUP delivery. For first timers or novice paddlers, you will receive in addition to the saftey clinic, a free 30 min private lesson in the water / on your paddle board with one of our local Adventure Lanai Island Club members. For those with plenty of SUP Ocean Paddling experience, you may opt out of the free 30min lesson.

Sea Life

*“Except for humpback whales, there is no law specifying the minimum distance people can approach a marine mammal. However, getting close to these animals may constitute a federal or state violation if the animal is disturbed or if your actions has the potential to disturb its natural behavioral patterns. NOAA and DLNR recommend, for you safety and the animals’ protection, that everyone stay at least 150 feet from all marine mammals. If maintaining this distance isn’t possible, keep safety in mind and move away from the animal as carefully as possible.”

“I don’t have enough good things to say about our experience with Adventure Lanai. When we arrived, our jeep was ready for us and a club member went over a map explaining trails to take. We then went to Manele Bay where we had a great SUP lesson. Adventure Lanai was extremely helpful and we all look forward to visiting again!”- A.D. and girls

“My 14 year old daughter and I loved paddle boarding! With a little instruction, we were both able to get up and paddle away. Seeing the shoreline from open water, looking at the coral from above getting an ab workout in the process made us paddle board addicts from our first foray.  Thanks Adventure Lanai Island Club! ” -KK-NY

“I truly loved my paddle boarding experience on Lana'i thanks to Adventure Lana'i Island Club. I arranged to use a paddle board for 4 hrs. I never paddle board before but with the instructional lesson I received with my board, I felt confident and safe to experience this exciting adventure on my own for the rest of the morning. Thank you Adventure Lana'i for making my dreams come true!” -R. Toman from Oregon

“One day we arranged to use a stand up paddle board from Adventure Lanai Island Club, and had a great time. First we went out individually for a lesson, and then we keep the board for the rest of the day. After several falls, I finally got the hang of it, and it was loads of fun. MrsV got standing for a little bit, but preferred to kneel or sit while paddling around. Mahalo for all the Aloha you have shown Ruth and I over the year!” -Mark and Ruth Valgemae
